Proud History of Machining Excellence

The Karatech name has been synonymous with top machining quality for over 10 years.  Much of our team, has actually been together for over 20 years. Owner Steve Karamitsos began working for our machine shop back in 1989 when it was known as Atlas Automatics. In 2006, Steve purchased the business and the Karatech name was born.

Today, much of the team remains intact and we’ve now got second generation employees working at Karatech. Our team is more than just a group of co-workers.  We’ve forged close friendships with each other over the years, and this carries over to our customers as well.  By treating people right, we retain our employees like we retain our customers. Our driving philosophy is to never give a customer any reason to look anywhere else for machining services. Because of this commitment, we guarantee complete satisfaction with every interaction, and every order.

We often receive feedback from our visitors about how tidy and well organized our machine shop is. Fridays are cleaning days here at Karatech, and if you choose to visit our shop on a Friday, we’ll be glad to put you to work!

Our bread and butter is machining production runs of parts. Not “big” parts….but “smaller parts that attach to big parts”, as owner Steve puts it. Our machine shop is set up for both efficiency and high volume. We are proud to serve our local economy with quality machined products, as well as providing machined parts to customers nationwide. With over 45 years combined experience, our capabilities provide us with a competitive advantage in both pricing and quality.
